Kansas City’s market leader for delivering Microsoft SharePoint, BI and CRM solutions is seeking
a proven inside sales professional with a successful background selling software, solutions,
and projects.
Position Description
HCONN is the largest Microsoft Gold Certified SharePoint partner in the Midwest. HCONN is a fast growing company and needs an excellent inside sales person who will be a member of our sales and marketing team. You will have a lot of potential to build your career such as outside sales, and marketing. Compensation package is very competitive.
Responsibilities:
- Contact prospects by telephone in order to build sales pipeline by handling prospecting activities, lead generation, opportunity identification and development and progression through sales cycle
- Make outbound call calls from provided lists (past customers and new sales to generate leads) to set up appointments generate online or offline meeting and marketing campaigns
- Explain basic firm information to prospects and obtain or confirm information such
as contact name, address, company information, accounting software utilized, fiscal
year-end, etc
- Work with Sales Manager, Business Development Managers and Marketing Director to develop phone scripts to address the needs and interests of targeted audiences
- Schedule appointments for business development managers
- Invite clients or prospects to organized or sponsored webcasts or events
- Manage responses and communicate as appropriate to marketing
- Track all telemarketing efforts using the Microsoft CRM system and work with marketing team to assess the Return on Investment (ROI) of campaigns
- Work closely with business development and marketing to communicate efforts, campaign results and any follow-up work required
- Make outbound call calls from provided lists to set up appointments generate webinar and seminar attendance and marketing campaigns
- Attend internal trainings to increase product knowledge
Required Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor degree in Marketing or Communications or other related Business area
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an inside sales role with experience in telemarketing or telephone sales required
- Excellent verbal and written communications, organizational and time management skills, including a proven track record in meeting deadlines and communicating/documenting facts and situations before decisions are made
- Must be well organized, highly motivated with a desire to be successful, able to work in a fast paced environment, and be able to handle multi-deal quotes simultaneously
- Must be aggressive, competitive and committed
- Must possess the ability to work in a team environment and a willingness to help others and cross boundaries
- Must have ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in inside sales role within a consulting and/or solutions organization a plus
- General experience in managing calls and prospective client leads with Microsoft
CRM system a plus
- Resilient personality and the ability to handle all types of prospects, clients and
call situations
